Medford, Phoenix and Central Point customers
Fall is in the air — and millions of leaves are on the ground. The solution? Leaf pickup from Rogue Disposal & Recycling at no additional charge for customers in Medford, Phoenix, and Central Point. To participate, scoop your leaves into heavy-duty plastic bags (30-gallon yard bags work best). Tie the bags shut and carry them to your curb in the public right of way. If you don’t have a curb, place your bags off the roadway, approximately eight feet from the pavement. Then on your collection week or day, a crew will be by to pick up your bagged leaves (see map for schedule).
Since leaf collection is not associated with trash collection, it will not necessarily occur on your regular trash day. When it’s your zone’s week or day for collection, make sure your leaf bags are out no later than 6:30 a.m. Monday morning.
Rake in the savings.
All customers within the Medford city limits are eligible for leaf pickup. You can use your own 30-gallon bags, or while supplies last, Medford residents can pick up 30 bags for $1 or 10 bags at no extra charge at the Rogue Disposal Customer Service Center, 8001 Table Rock Road, White City, open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed Saturday and Sunday). Medford residents may also pick up a maximum of 10 bags at the City of Medford Engineering office located in the Annex Bldg. at 200 S. Ivy St., on the second floor, at no extra charge.
