Rogue Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is hiring for a dynamic and talented Supervisor In Training in our Southern Oregon market.

Responsibilities:

  • Approaching all encounters with employees, customers, and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Support management of daily administrative operations including establishing work priorities; assist in resolving problems related to the day-to-day operations of the team.
  • Monitors progress of daily operations for drivers and make staffing and routing changes as necessary.
  • Support oversight, coordination, maintenance, and/or processing payroll time sheets, sick, and annual leave documentation.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of processes and procedures; support maintenance of department records and/or inventories.
  • Promote Waste Connections standard operating procedures, which assure efficient environmentally correct and safe workplace practices.
  • Demonstrate the ability to become proficient in the use of proprietary operational systems.

Requirements:

  • College degree preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft suite of applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Previous experience in the trash industry preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and EPA guidelines
  • Organizing and coordinating skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
