Extra Recyclables

If due to the severe weather the week of February 3rd, and either your red or green lid cart was not emptied, you may place extra recyclables next to your cart this week (starting Monday, February 17th) on your regular collection day. If you have extra red-lid recyclables, please place them in a cardboard box (up to 2’ x 2’ in size). If you have extra yard debris, please place it, unbagged, in a separate household can (with handles; up to 32-gal).

If you need to contact us, please email us at info@roguedisposal.com, and we will respond as soon as we’re able.

Pipeline for Waste Water

This 3.3 mile pipeline starts at the leachate ponds by the Gas-to-Energy building and runs along the haul road to the compost facility, where it flows by trench to the shooting range at the Jackson County Sports Park. Here, it ties into the Rogue Valley sewer system.

At 2019 leachate generation rates, it would have taken 5,880 truckloads of waste water travelling by road — 11 truckloads a day — to carry the same amount of water that the pipeline carries today. This improves air quality in the area and reduces noise and truck traffic for nearby neighborhoods.
