The Rogue Transfer and Recycling Trans-Load Facility is a rail spur that provides direct access to the Transfer Station. Creating this rail spur allows waste to be hauled to the facility by rail, as well as the ability to ship recyclables out to markets across the region.

Instead of having hundreds of trucks bring materials to the Transfer Station, the Trans-Load Facility allows the same materials to be brought in by rail, greatly reducing truck traffic and the emissions they create.
