Collection Calendar Issues

*We are experiencing a system error with our collection calendar and are working to resolve the issue. We appreciate your patience.*

If Thursday, November 27th is your normal collection day, your trash and recycling will be picked up by end of day. Please note, your collection time may be different, so be sure to have your carts out by 6:30am.

While curbside collection will see no changes, our offices will be closing at 3pm Wednesday, November 26th and will remain closed until Monday, December 1st.

The Transfer Station will be closed on Thanksgiving, but open regular hours on Friday and Saturday.

Here’s to a happy (and delicious) Thanksgiving! Click here for our entire 2025 trash and recycling holiday schedule.

Rogue Compost

Throughout the year, Rogue Disposal & Recycling collects tons of yard debris from throughout the Rogue Valley — at the curb and at the Transfer Station. Instead of being disposed of, these leaves, grass clippings, deadheaded flowers and other organic materials are turned into rich, nutritious compost during a natural process that takes 12 to 18 months. In the end, nutrient-rich Rogue Compost is ready for local gardens, flower beds and landscaping, as well as large-scale commercial use in farms, orchards and vineyards.

All-natural Rogue Compost improves soil health by providing micronutrients for plant growth. It increases moisture retention too, which can decrease the need for watering and irrigation. And it can increase plant productivity by balancing nutrient availability with plant growth. Overall, Rogue Compost turns poor soil into plant-friendly soil that better absorbs and stores nutrients.
