Honoring our heroes: Rogue recognizes veteran employees

Veterans Day, recognized every year on November 11 (commemorating the end of World War I), honors the service and sacrifices of all who have served in the United States armed forces, both in wartime and in peacetime. It’s a chance for us to thank all veterans for their service, acknowledge that their contributions to our national security are appreciated, and to underscore the fact that all those who have sacrificed so much for the freedoms we all enjoy as Americans.

Here at Rogue Disposal & Recycling, we are proud to have a team of dedicated veterans who continue to serve their community through their hard work.

A banner year of appreciation

As a way to recognize their sacrifices, we created a a special banner in our shop as visible symbol of our gratitude as well as created special signs that you may have seen on a few of our Rogue Disposal trucks. We also created a unique logo, merging the Stars and Stripes with our own Rogue Oakleaf and distributed commemorative T-shirts to our veteran employees during a heartfelt tribute at a Veterans Day hauling tailgate.

Our veterans are a force for good

We are grateful for the contribution of these outstanding individuals, along with that of many other veterans on Team Rogue:

Andrew Adams, Army
Steve Asher, Marines
Mike Cline, Coast Guard
Dan Cavender, Navy
Jose Martinez, Army
Dave Merrill, Army
Ian Rasmussen, Army

By employing veterans, Rogue is not only honoring their service but also benefiting from their unique skills, discipline, and work ethic. We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all our employees, especially those who have sacrificed so much for our country.
